Syllabus
Module 1: Introduction to EV Ecosystem
This will be an online self-paced 1st module of the course, where you'll learn about the EV ecosystem.
You will learn about basic automotive history, EV technology foundation, technology growth, market trends, industry and factors leading to the future growth of EVs in India.
Module 2: Basics of Electrical & Electronics for EV
This will be the 2nd module of the course, where you'll learn about the very basics of the electrical and electronics concepts, terminologies and their applications in EVs.
Module 3: EV Architecture & System Overview
This is the 3rd module of the course, where you'll learn about the different EV powertrain architectures available in the market today, their constructions, functions, components and their various applications.
Module 4: EV Battery Technology – Fundamentals
In this module, we continue to teach you about lithium battery technology, starting from its basic concepts, so that you can learn and understand the lithium cell, its types, applications, how battery packs are made, how they function, and the components involved.
Module 5: EV Motor & Controller Basics
In this module, you'll learn about motors and controllers used in EVs, their types, applications, functions and how they work together. in any electric vehicles.
Module 6: Charging Systems & EVSE Basics
In this module, you'll learn about EV chargers and charging systems' fundamentals, key terminologies and their applications in EVs.
Module 7: EV Safety Awareness & PPE
In this module, you'll learn about EV safety from the basics. Right from safety hazards to workplace safety to safe handling and operations on electric vehicles and lithium batteries, as well as on high-voltage systems.
Module 8: Detailed EV Battery & BMS
From Module 8, you'll have a live online session with our trainer/expert to learn and understand lithium batteries and BMS components in-depth, with live examples of multiple electric vehicles.
Module 9: Motor, Controller & Power Electronics
In module no 9, you will learn about the PCBs, their components, controllers and converters, PCB design architectures, and identification of components used on it.
Module 10: EV Diagnostics & Testing Concepts
In this module, you'll learn about the various component-level to vehicle-level field failures, errors, and how to diagnose them correctly.
Module 11: EV Service SOPs & Workshop Practices
In this module, you will learn about the best industry practices for the EV service process, SOPs, and workshop practices for safety, operations and work efficiency.
Module 12: EV Business & Service Centre Setup
This is a BONUS module to learn about the EV Service business from basics to a complete business model. This will be an executive session for starting your own EV service centre.
Module 13: Workshop Safety & Setup
From this module, you will be in offline mode training where you'll start learning about EV workshop safety, proper setup of the EV service centre, tools and machines to be used, PPE kit, and HV safe operations and handling.
Module 14: Battery Pack Service, Repair and Diagnostic Offline Practical
The next offline session will be focused on critical EV components, where Battery and BMS service, repair, diagnostics and maintenance.
Module 15: Motor & Controller Practical
The next offline session will be on Motor and controller repair, service and its maintenance.
- Thorough knowledge of the electric vehicle industry, technology and job profile as Service Technician Lead.
- Thorough knowledge of various components (electrical and mechanical), equipment, and machinery used in the servicing of 2 wheeler electric vehicles with defining capability to train their subordinates.
- Implementing capability of Functional safety parameters and general safety standards and processes.
- Well versed in diagnosis and troubleshooting of general as well as complicated failures of 2 wheeler electric vehicles.
- Thorough knowledge of vehicle and system level service requirements and awareness about tools and assembly kits for electrical and mechanical servicing of Electric 2 Wheeler.
- Capability to work effectively as Team Lead.
- Implementing capability of safety practices and OEM’s SOPs at workshop.
- Well versed in communication across hierarchy.
- After completion of the course candidates will get a thorough knowledge of Electric 2 Wheeler Industry and acquire the skill for handling the team and products service of Electric 2 Wheeler.
- After completion of this course candidates will get complete Level-4 hands on expertise for Electric 2 Wheelers. They shall work as certified Level-4 Service Technician Lead (As per Automotive Skill Standard and Job role).
